# uptime — Uptime Kuma monitoring service > **Module kind:** primitive | **Version:** 1.0.0 Uptime-kuma is a self-hosted monitoring tool deployed as an ECS Fargate container. It supports HTTP, DNS, and TCP health checks and can notify on-call via Teams, email, SMS, or GitHub issues. MAJOR bumps require a new registry entry (immutable publication); old entries enter a 12-month deprecation window.
